Feeling good is a basic human need. We all strive for it. We try to eat better, work out, use better skincare and household products and surround ourselves by loving and supportive people. But sometimes feeling good can come from doing something that does not focus directly on us.
Do Good To Feel Good.

One of the most wonderful things about the Internet is the way it allows us to connect to each other and support our fellow humans, animals and plants in times of need. Crossing borders and language barriers, a number of organisations work tirelessly to help those who need it. Research has shown that supporting charitable causes makes us feel better. Giving money certainly helps - but there's so much more we can do by signing petitions and spreading the word about issues that matter.

Here are some of my favourite organisations: Change, Avaaz, AllOut, SumofUs, Amnesty, PETA, Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace. There are many, many more - let me know what your favourite organisations are!
